PU leather jackets are as delicate as genuine leather—do you know how to take care of them?

Advantages and disadvantages of PU fabric

Advantages

It has a texture and luster very similar to genuine leather, with a smooth surface and delicate feel, making it quite comfortable to wear and making it an excellent decorative material.

In terms of product quality, PU fabric has stable physical properties, is bending resistant, relatively soft, and stretch-resistant, making it an ideal fabric for clothing and apparel. At the same time, compared to genuine leather, PU has lower production costs, affordable market prices, and a wide range of product positioning to meet different customer needs.

Disadvantages

PU fabric has poor wear resistance and low color fastness. After long-term use and friction, it may experience paint peeling or fading.

PU maintenance precautions

PU fabrics should not be wiped with gasoline, exposed to high temperatures, or dry-cleaned.

PU clothing must be kept sufficiently dry during storage, otherwise mold spots are likely to form.

PU garments should be hung and not stacked, as creases can easily form at the folded areas and are hard to remove.

Clean

1. Maintenance PU leather jackets: Spray the usual leather spray wax onto a clean, soft cotton cloth, then wipe the surface of the PU leather jacket evenly and hang it in a ventilated area. This helps the PU leather jacket retain its original shine.

2. If the PU leather jacket gets wet or wet, dry it promptly or wipe it dry with a clean soft cloth
